Michael Lamar is a musician and web developer based in New York City. Michael is a professional bassoonist who specializes in classical music and has worked as a freelance musician in the city for over 8 years.
Michael is an alumnus of both Manhattan School of Music and The Juilliard School, where he studied with bassoon teachers Roger Nye and William Short. He is passionate about opera and particularly loves the music of composers such as Mozart, Rossini, Donizetti, and Bellini.
In addition to his musical pursuits, Michael is also a self-taught web developer with expertise in Next.js, React, Typescript, and TailwindCSS. He has a keen interest in machine learning and AI and is currently learning more about these fields as the tech industry rapidly evolves.
When he's not making music or coding, Michael finds joy in skateboarding through the streets of New York with his friends. With his diverse set of skills and passions, Michael brings a unique perspective to all of his endeavors and is always eager to take on new challenges.
